How to copy a Custom report

The structure of a custom report can be easily copied, both within the same event or from one event into another event.

To copy a report within the same event:
  • Click 'Custom Reports Setup'.   From the report list, click the 'Copy' link alongside the report you want to copy.
  • In the following screen, choose 'Save in current event' -
  • Enter the new report name in the box.
  • Click the 'Copy Report' button.

To copy a report from one event to another, you must first be logged in to the event that you want to copy the report From.  Then follow this procedure:
  • Click 'Custom Reports Setup'.   From the report list, click the 'Copy' link alongside the report you want to copy.
  • In the following screen, choose: 'Copy to another event'
  • Chose the event you want to copy the report to, from the drop-down list.
    • NOTE: The copied report contains only the structure of the report, not any data.  Any columns that are not listed under the event being copied to are simply discarded from the new report structure.  For example, if you have a report in the current event with a field called 'Friday Dinner', but the event that you copied the report to does not contain the 'Friday Dinner' field, then that field will be removed from the report.
  • Enter the new report name in the box.
  • Click the 'Copy Report' button.
